This year’s Refuge at the Ridge concentrated on a curriculum entitled “Imitate My Heart.”
What is discipleship? As disciples, we are much more than just followers of Christ. We should be imitators of Christ in our daily encounters with others and in our growing relationship with God.
Although we have a beautiful new building, the last thing real disciples do is "go to church", because the church is not a place...
The church is people!

* We stayed in cabins, where each family unit had a private room and bathroom.
* No cooking was required - Meals were provided by MarLu Ridge.
Events included:
* Learning sessions geared towards three specific groups: Adults, Youth, or Children
* Intergenerational sessions
* Devotions
* Scavenger hunt
* Campfire / Sing along / S’mores
* Time to socialize
* Time for family reflections
